Q
Q13-3. I understand that the dormitory is available to Kyoto iUP students during a certain period after arrival in Japan. After this period, what should I do for accommodation?
A

After that period, you must move to a private apartment or other form of accommodation. Our administrative office will support you in finding a private apartment.
Please visit the Kyoto University International Service Office website for more information.
When student leave the dormitory after the first one and a half years of the program, it will be around the end of March. We believe moving out in late March is ideal for finding a new apartment in Japan because April is when the new fiscal year begins, and that's when many properties become vacant.
