Q
Q1-4. Is there any kind of benefit for Kyoto iUP students when they continue their studies at Kyoto University's graduate school?
A

The Kyoto iUP Office actively provides Kyoto iUP students who are considering applying for graduate school with information on scholarships administered by foundations outside university as well as ones directly awarded by Kyoto University.
As for the latter, in 2023, the Kyoto University Division of Graduate Studies has launched a scholarship program for graduate school, targeting Kyoto iUP students who will graduate from the undergraduate program in March 2024 and intend to enter Kyoto University's graduate school.*
The program is very competitive, and only a small number of students are guaranteed to receive the scholarship before entering the graduate school, but with this scholarship, they can go on to the graduate school from undergraduate course without any financial concerns.
*Please note that there is a possibility that the support details of the scholarship program may change in the future, or that the scholarship program itself may be cancelled or suspended.
